3/16 (5 mm) wide band on the back side. The front side (the 'wide open arms') is a little under 3/4 inches (17mm) at the widest part
This ring has an organic and rustic feel to it, with a hammered and brushed finish (the inside is a smooth satin finish). It has been oxidized, and then polished in places, to emphasize the organic look (this finish can be easily maintained by lightly touching the ring up with a silver polish cloth when desired). I would almost describe it as a gunmetal grey.
